Lois Bailey

Lois Ellen Steenbergen Bailey 95 of Etoile, KY died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Barren County Health Care. She was born in Barren County, September 18, 1912 the daughter of the late Leaner B. and Jenny Steen Steenbergen and the wife of the late Howard Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and member of the Peters Creek Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 daughters Joyce Brown (Kenneth), Mary Nell Lewis, 1 son James W. Bailey (Karen) all of Glasgow, 9 grandchildren Michael Brown (Karen) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Patricia Bush (Doug) Glasgow, KY, Leslie Witt (Jim) Hudson, OH, Donnie Owens (Laura) Frankfort, KY, Billy Owens (Debbie) Athens, AL, Dennis Owens (Vickie) Glasgow, KY, Connie Owens Etoile, KY, Jenny Spangler (Eric) Lexington, KY, Jamie (Jaime) Bailey Georgetown, KY, 1 step-granddaughter Linda Hensley (Robert) of Clarksville, TN, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, 1 sister Willa Dean Cole of PeeWee Valley, KY, 1 sister-in-law Joyce Steenbergen of Glasgow, KY several nieces and nephews also survive. IN addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Ginger Lyn Beckers, 6 brothers Dewey, Dennis, Osborn, Ralfey, Charlie and Buell Steenbergen, 2 sisters Gladys Houchens and Civil Harrison. Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be held 2 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery at Etoile. Visitation will be after 3PM Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the funeral home.
