Lois Gooden

Lois Emogene "Jean" Gooden, 87, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Glenview Health Care. She was born June 30, 1933 in Barren County to the late John W. Gooden and Susie Phillips Gooden. Jean was a retired waitress from Shoney's. Survivors include, four nieces, Mavis Jeffries (Larry) of Horse Cave, Kentucky, Marcella Craighead (John) of Cave City, Kentucky, Debby Gossett (Larry) of Cave City, Kentucky, Sheryl Foster (Terry) of Glasgow, Kentucky; one nephew, Mike Lanoux of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Calvin Gooden, Kenneth Gooden, Leo Gooden, James Gooden, Palmore Gooden; and three sisters, Irene Conkin, Mabel Ferguson, and Fannie Lanoux. A graveside service for Mrs. Gooden will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 12th at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. A. F.
