Lois Pfeifer Kobet of Glasgow, KY, passed away February 12, 2020, following an extended illness. She was born to Fred and Hazel Fiel Pfeifer of Evans City, PA June 8, 1941. She spent many years in Scottsboro, AL and Statesboro, GA as well, earning countless friends while working for W.J. Word Lumber Company and Georgia Southern University during those times. Her matchless smile, her contagious laugh, and her welcome ear endeared her to many. She was the organist for 20 years at Old Union Church, Mars, PA.. She is survived by her devoted husband and caregiver of 55 years, Ronald Kobet, son Tony Kobet and his wife Laura, of Clemmons, NC; son Gary Kobet and his wife Jacquelyn of Soddy Daisy, TN; and daughter Cindy Groover and her husband Randy of Statesboro, GA, along with grandchildren Robert Kobet and wife Jessica, parents to great-grandson Emmett; Peter Kobet and wife Emily, Daniel Kobet, Deanna Smith and husband Cody, Jack Kobet, Jacob Groover, Joseph Groover, and Joshua Groover. Also surviving are sister Judith Pfeifer and brothers Walter Pfeifer and his wife Sherry, Carl Pfeifer and his wife Carol, and Dennis Pfeifer and his wife Sherri.. The family extends a special note of sincere thanks to the staff and administration at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow, KY for years of care and support Services were held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Carl Kinsey-Ronald N.
