Lois Meek

Lois V. Meek 85 of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday morning at the N. H. C. Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Henry and Pernie Houchens Eddings. Mrs. Meek was a homemaker and a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Meek of Glasgow; two granddaughters Bridget Meek of Glasgow and Beverly Gamel and husband Richie of Glasgow; three great grandchildren Trent, Taylor and Tony Gamel; a brother Richard Eddings and wife Margaret of Edmonton, KY; a sister Gracie Lyons and husband Langford of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Brent Meek and her son Oscar Meek preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday November 11, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
