Lottie Spears

Lottie Jane Spears 94 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Cumberland County she was the daughter of the late Will and Cynthia Thrasher Norris and the wife of the late Ruel Elbert Spears. Mrs. Spears attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church and South Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons Paul Spears and wife Helen of Glasgow, Ruel Spears and wife Brigitte of Glasgow, 4 grandchildren Jennifer McClellan, Kathy Shirley, Mike Anderson and Tony Anderson, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by 2 daughters Geneva Anderson and Nelda Spears, 3 brothers Claude, Millard and Russell Norris, 1 sister Effie Taylor. Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, December 19, 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2PM Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the funeral home.
