Lou Ballard

Lou Ella Ballard 69 of Glasgow died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her residence. Born in Glasgow, KY she was the daughter of the late Billie and Laura Fields Emmitt. Mrs. Ballard was a member of the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a former employee of R. R. Donnelley's. Survivors include her husband Teddy Ballard of Glasgow; 2 daughters Loretta Combs (John) and Tonya McClellan (Marty) both of Glasgow; 2 sons Teddy Lee "Bear" Ballard (Connie) and Matt Ballard (Elizabeth Oglesby) both of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a sister Billy Sue Ballard and a brother Jimmy Emmitt both of Glasgow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Thomas Wayne Ballard, a daughter Lisa Ballard Green and a sister Sarah Jeannette Whitworth. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Tuesday at the funeral home.
