Lou Jane Williams

Lou Jane Williams 89 of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Lou Annie McGuire Nuckols. Mrs. Williams was a former lunchroom cook for Temple Hill School and also loved gardening and raising vegetables. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church, the D.A.V. Chapter 20 Auxiliary, B&PW Club, Democratic Women's Club, AARP and Modern Woodmen. Survivors include her daughter Karen Fox Congine and husband Joseph of Glasgow; 2 grandsons Chad Fox and wife Lauren of Glasgow and Colby Fox and wife Kellie of Winchester; 2 great grandchildren Chad and Taylor Fox and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Wesley Williams and two brothers Willard and Chris Nuckols. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Sunday, September 11th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Saturday.
