Louie Steenbergen

Louie Steenbergen 82 of Fountain Run, KY died Sunday morning January 28th at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of Bert and Ora Harrison Steenbergen. Mr. Steenbergen was retired from the Coca Cola Company and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 20 in Glasgow. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife Beulah Jones Steenbergen; 1 son Mike Steenbergen (Diane) of Fountain Run; a daughter Jackie Thomerson of Cave City; 5 grandchildren Shaun Steenbergen, Jeremy (Jessica) Thomerson, Josh (Jill) Thomerson, Jarrod Thomerson and Julie Thomerson; 4 great grandchildren and 2 brothers Leon and B.C. Steenbergen of Louisville. He was preceded in death by two sisters Edith Harwood and Mona Steenbergen, two brothers Maxwell and Walton Steenbergen and a great grandson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday January 30, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by the D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday.
