Lucy Denton

Lucy Furlong Denton 90 of Glasgow died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late David Hubbard Furlong & Emma Herron Furlong and wife of the late Murrell Denton. Mrs. Denton was a member of the Boyd's Creek United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter Rebecca Gabehart (Keith) of Bowling Green, KY, a granddaughter Becky Jill Gabehart-Croft (Cleveland) of Cottontown, TN, a great granddaughter Rebekah Grace Croft, a sister Elizabeth Edwards of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she is preceded in death by a sister Josie Edmunds and 4 brothers Ed Emery Furlong, Milton Furlong, Louis Furlong and Jewel Furlong. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:30am Saturday at the funeral home.
