Lula Dockery

Lula Irene Houchens Dockery 95 of Glasgow died Saturday March 19, 2005 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late James Hardin Houchens and Eliza Ann Woodcock Houchens and was the wife of the late Warren Dockery. Mrs. Dockery was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a former employee of the Houchens Grocery Stores, and along with her husband, owned and operated a small Grocery in Glasgow. She is survived by 4 nieces Covella H. Biggers of Bowling Green, Linda Freeman, Ruth Glass and Clarine Shelton all of Glasgow; 2 nephews Suel Houchens of Bowling Green and Ruel Houchens of Glasgow and several Great nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be 4:00pm Monday March 21, 2005 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
