Lula Martin

Lula Payne Martin 86 of Glasgow died Saturday August 15, 2009 at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Robert and Erma Hunt Payne. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Eugene Martin; 1 daughter Loretta Martin Murrey and husband Harrell of Glasgow; 1 granddaughter Ellen Elizabeth Murrey of Bowling Green; 2 sisters Nell Bowles and husband William Earl of Glasgow and Dixene Proffitt and husband Arlen B. of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Lottie Woodcock and Beulah Payne and two brothers Russell and Rondall Payne. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday Aug. 18, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pm until 8pm and Tuesday until time for services.
