Lydia Carey

Lydia Stice Carey 66 of Glasgow died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Barren County as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Cave City, KY she was the daughter of the late Lenard and Geneva Pauline (Neville) Stice. Mrs. Carey was a member of Little Hope Baptist Church and was nurse for T. J. Samson Community Hospital, Greenview Regional Hospital, Glenview Healthcare, NHC Healthcare and local Doctor's offices. Survivors include her husband Bobby Carey of Glasgow; 2 daughters Sydney Knicely (Carroll) of Glasgow and Felisha Dowdy (Troy) of Prospect, KY; a grandchild Ashton Dowdy; 2 sisters Brenda Cooper (Jewell) and Pat Minor both of Cave City; 2 brothers Barry Stice (Karen) of Smiths Grove and Shane Stice (Terri) of Cave City; 2 brothers-in-law Jimmy Carey (Hope) and Jerry Carey (Phyllis) both of Cave City and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, July 1st at the Little Hope Baptist Church with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Thursday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Friday from 10:00am until time for the services at the Little Hope Baptist Church.
