Travis Harp age 65 of Glasgow passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was the owner of Harp Trucking. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carolyn Harp; children, Jeff Harp and his wife Janet of Glasgow; Meridith Hobbs and her husband Damon of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Whitleigh and Faith Harp, Kaili Hobbs; sisters, Verneda Cook (Eunell) of Chalybeate, Jerline Glass of Glasgow, Barbara Smith (J. Larry) of Coral Hill; brothers-in-law, Larry Mutter, Joe Mutter (Linda) all of Glasgow; sisters-in-law, Gaye Shaw (Danny) of Edmonton, Janis Turner of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and will resume on Sunday at 12 Noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
