Mable Delk

Mabel Ruth Bell Delk 89 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Glasgow the daughter of the late Chess and Ethlanie Kinnard Bell and wife of the late Amel L. Delk. Mrs. Delk was an employee of Handmacher for 43 years and R. R. Donnelley and Sons for 15 years. She loved her grandchildren, music and gardening and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. Survivors include 8 children, Dana Branstetter (Lanny) of Horse Cave, Linda Smith of Glasgow, Brenda Yates of Glasgow, Terry Delk (Mildred) of Glasgow, Amel Delk, Jr. (Susie) of Cave City, Chess Delk of Glasgow, Lanie Powell (Jerry) of Stanford, KY and Anissa Krick (Nathan) of Maysville, NC; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A brother-in-law L. C. Willis of Columbia, KY also survives. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, March 28th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Friday.
