Madeline Richter

Madeline Lee Richter 84 of Glasgow died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Diversicare of Glasgow the former Barren County Health Care. She was born in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Rudolph and Mary Gaudio Berta. Mrs. Richter was a homemaker, a volunteer for T. J. Samson Ladies Auxiliary, a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church and Our Lady's Auxiliary of St. Helen's Parrish. She is survived by 3 daughters Margie Dickerson (Carl) of Glasgow, Carolyn Staley (Eric) of Rockford, MI and Jennifer Barnes (Parry) of Oswego, IL; a son David Richter (Ann) of Waterloo, IA; 12 grandchildren Brad and Sara Dickerson, John, Andy, Tom and Sam Richter, Kate, Michael and Jamie Staley and David, Daniel and Drew Barnes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jay Alan Richter, a grandson Adam Dickerson and her sister Eleanor Bickerton. A funeral mass will be held 10am Saturday, February 7th at St. Helen's Catholic Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4pm until 8pm at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to St. Helen's Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Assn.
