Mae Duvall Hogue 93 of Glasgow, KY died Monday November 8, 2004 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Brownsville, KY the daughter of the late Tommy and Onis Alexander Duvall and wife of the late Robert Hogue. Mrs. Hogue was a retired school teacher in the Barren County School System after 30 years. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 65 years and a member of the choir, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #257 in Glasgow and numerous organizations. She is survived by a daughter Dr. Elda Simpson and husband David of Homewood, IL; a daughter in law Faye Kinslow and husband Steve of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Robert Hogue III and wife Jennifer of Glasgow, Amanda Simmons and husband Jason of Glasgow, Martha Mack and husband Joey of Louisiana, Brian Simpson and Eric Simpson of Los Angeles, CA; 5 great grandchildren Jamie & Allison Hogue of Glasgow, Dylan and Katelyn Simmons of Glasgow and Dristan Mack of Livingston, LA; 3 sisters Jewell Ashley of Sweeden, KY, Cora Ashley of Louisville and Adele Meadows of Greensburg, KY; 1 brother Cova Duvall of Winchester, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Bobby Hogue and three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday Nov. 10, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Order of Eastern Star services will be 7:00pm Tuesday during the visitation and the public is welcome to attend.
