Maggie Carbo

Maggie Jean Carbo 83 of Smiths Grove died Monday, December 28, 2015 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Gilbert and Ada N. Bridges Smith. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Roy Stinnett and Ben B. Carbo. Mrs. Carbo was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, bowling and canning. She is survived by 4 sisters Pauline McClellan of Glasgow, Mildred Hamilton of Crawfordsville, IN, Marie Taylor of Haywood and Mary Ann Nichols of Smiths Grove; 2 brothers James Smith of Crawfordsville, IN and Richard Smith of Thorntown, IN and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister Joyce Childress and two brothers William Herbert Smith and Joe Smith. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, December 31st at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Wednesday.
