Maggie Emma Smith

Maggie Emma Jewell Byrd Smith 90 of Glasgow died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the NHC Health Care Facility. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late John Marion and Bessie F. Hare Byrd and wife of the late Joe Louis Smith. Mrs. Smith was of the Christian faith. Survivors include three sons Larry Smith & wife Patricia, Bob T. Smith & wife Sandra and Mike Smith & wife Debbie all of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Joe and Rick Smith; three sisters Lillian Ballard, Dorothy Pullen & Bernice Marie Byrd and a brother Walter Byrd. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
