Margaret Vance

Margaret Louise Vance 74 of Glasgow died Tuesday August 28, 2007 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Herman and Mae Dearing Matthews and wife of the late Joyce Wayne Shirley. Mrs. Vance was a homemaker and was a member of the Glasgow First Assembly of God. She is survived by 3 daughters, Lo-Wayne Francis (Randy) of Glasgow, Joyce Lollar (Ricky) of Glasgow and Gatha Chen (Ernest) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 1 brother Bill Matthews of Bowling Green; one sister Jean Decker of Louisville; 6 grandchidren Alena Clark, Josh Francis, Victory Chen, Joy Chen, Brandi Denton and Brandon Lollar and 4 great-grandchildren Justus Meek, Chloe Clark, Maddie Denton and Emma Denton. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kimberly Meek, a brother Doug Matthews and a sister Ruth Hendricks. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday August 31, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Thursday.
