Margie Bratcher

Margie Marie Bratcher, 76, of Caneyville, passed away Friday, September 25th, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born on Friday, July 21st, 1939 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Cooper and Lorene (Clark) Johnson. Margie was a member of the Wilson Home Church. She was a homemaker and seamstress out of her home. Margie is survived by her husband, Gordon Bratcher; one son, Mike Bratcher of Caneyville; one daughter, Linda Powell (Leroy) of Leitchfield; five brothers, Cooper Johnson Jr of Spring Lick, Wendel, Glendel, Roger and Danny Johnson all of Butler County and two sisters, Helen Cockerel of Dog Creek and Sharon Gail Cardwell of Butler County. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jean Burden and her brother, James Johnson.Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 29th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Gary Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Home Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday after 3:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
