Margie Ward

Margie Martin Ward 73 of Glasgow died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Martin was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae Turner Martin and the wife of the late Walter Ward, Jr. and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Sheila Furlong (Jeff) of Glasgow, 4 brothers Herbert Martin (Dot) of Cave City, Orby Martin of Glasgow, Richard Martin (Teresa) of Glasgow, Billy Joe Martin (Carol Ann) of Cave City, 3 sisters Mary Dee Carter, Etta Calvert (Kenneth), Shirley Ann Norman all of Glasgow, special neighbor and friend 11 year old Derrick Sells of Glasgow along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 5 brothers Lee, Wilson, Paul, Allen and David Martin and a sister Nadine Morgan. Funeral services for Mrs. Ward will be held 2PM Friday, December 7, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the funeral home.
