Marie Coulter Coe 76 of Glasgow died Friday May 4, 2007 at the Barren County Health Care Facility after an extended illness. She was born July 7, 1930 in Barren County, the daughter of the late Lon Coulter and Mary Jane Wood Coulter. Mrs. Coe was a bookkeeper for 31-W Wrecking Co. and the family farming business, was a member of the Democratic Women's Club, a former member of the Glasgow B & PW Club and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carlie Fay Coe; two daughters Sherry Darlene Shive (Larry) of Edmonton and Krissie Jayne Coe Fields (Tommy) of Glasgow; two sons Carlie Fay Coe, Jr. (Lanise) of Glasgow and Lonnie Robert Coe (Susan) of Clarkson; four grandchildren Chris and Danny Shive of Edmonton, Justin Coe of Glasgow and Bobby Coe of Clarkson; one great-grandson Gage Shive of Edmonton and nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Lonnie Coulter and two sisters Rosie Elizabeth Coulter Grooms and Gladys Helen Coulter. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday May 8, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
