Marilouise Anderson Chamberlain 94 of New Albany, IN formerly of Glasgow died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in New Albany. Born in Cave City she was the daughter of Willard and Nell Riherd Anderson and wife of the late James Douglas Chamberlain. Mrs. Chamberlain was a former school teacher in the Barren County and Glasgow school systems until her retirement in 1977. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow and also a member of the Homemakers Club and the Retired Teachers Assn. She is survived by her daughter M. Lynell Chamberlain of Borden, IN; her sisters-in-law Alyce Preston and husband Paul of Park City, Doris Chamberlain of Nashville and Jan Chamberlain of Richland, WA. Several nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews along with her large number of friends also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM Friday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 S. Green St. Glasgow, KY 42141 or BRAWA.
