Marilyn King

Marilyn Gail King, age 50 of Leitchfield passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. She was born August 22, 1964 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joseph King and Mary Geneva Higdon King who survives. She is survived by her mother, Mary Geneva King of Hardinsburg, five brothers, Merle Isaac King of Brandenburg, David Wayne King, Leslie Blain King (Nina), Wesley Dale King and Jeffrey 'Nubbin' King (Janette) all of Leitchfield, five nieces and 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one nephew, Christopher Clay King. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Shrewsbury Cemetery in Shrewsbury. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.
