Mark Cannon

Mark Anthony Cannon, age 57 of Leitchfield, passed away Friday, March 3rd 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born July 7th 1959 in Leitchfield, the son of Hartford and Ruby England Cannon. He graduated Grayson County High School in 1977. On August 6th 1988 he married Sharon Annette Smith of Leitchfield. Mark was employed as an Engineering Technician who specialized in surveying until his retirement on March 1st 2014. He enjoyed his family, his dogs, his model rockets, making fireworks, riding dirt bikes, and hatching baby chicks. Mark is survived by his wife, Sharon Annette Cannon, his two daughters, Kelly Marie Cannon of Bowling Green, & Kimberly Allison Carbaugh (Brett) of Midway Park, NC, his granddaughter, Olivia Mae Carbaugh, his brothers, Alton & Thomas Cannon both of Leitchfield, his sisters, Linda Clark (Larry) of Leitchfield, Sarah Moore (Ronnie) of Bowling Green, Helen Griffith of Elizabethtown, & Cheryl Junker (Norman) of Falls of Rough, and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hartford & Ruby Cannon. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the St. Paul Catholic School.
