Martha Jane Christy

Martha Jane Christy, age 80, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, February 21, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on January 22, 1945, to the late Barnabus Mesker and the late Mary Francis (Holman) Mesker. She was a Surgical Tech at the Medical Center of Bowling Green for 43 years and was of the Baptist faith. She loved going to Barren County Speedway for many years and watching the dirt track races.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Jewell (Jeff); grandchildren, Amber Jewell, Ashton Richardson (Hunter); sister, Joyce Wagoner (Norris); along with several nieces and nephews who also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Leon Christy; brother, Joe Holman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to BRAWA and Shanti Niketan Hospice Home.
The funeral service for Mrs. Christy will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery; Visitation will be Monday, February 24th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Tuesday starting at 8:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
