Marvin Fargason

Marvin Lee Fargason 73 of Glasgow, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Atlanta, GA he was the son of the late Walter and Ora Belle Dickinson Fargason. Mr. Fargason was a retired Cabinet Maker and member of the Bethel Independent Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Betty Neal Fargason; 2 sons Robert Fargason of Atlanta, GA, Mark Fargason of Florida; 2 daughter Chris Neal of Minnesota and Karen Goddard of Atlanta; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 step children Sandra Charlene Clark, Karen Clark (Richard), Tammy Houchens (Roger), Angela Button (John), Anthony Smith all of Glasgow; 7 step-grandchildren Derek Mizzell, Lance Mizzell, Kent Clark, Aaron Clark, Clay Button, Luke Button, Chase Smith; 1 great step grandchild Parker Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Bethel Independent Baptist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and after 10 AM on Friday at the Church.
