Marvin Gentry

Marvin Everett Gentry 69 of Manassas, VA and formerly of Glasgow died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at his residence. Born in Monroe County, KY he was the son of the late Ray & Mary Sims Tobin Gentry. Mr. Gentry was of the Baptist faith, a 1959 graduate of Park City High School, 1982 graduate of University of Colorado @ Boulder and a 1989 graduate of Wichita State University where he obtained a Masters of Business Administration. Mr. Gentry was an Accountant for the Federal Government and was currently an auditor for the FCC and previously worked for the Department of Defense. He was retired from the U. S. Army where he served two tours in Vietnam. Survivors include a daughter Belinda Vigil (Mark) of Frederick, CO; a son Michael Gentry (Stephanie) of Johnstown, CO; five grandchildren Christian Gentry, Anthony Perez, Kiersten Perez, Cordell Gentry and Meriah Vigil; a great grandchild MicKinley Claire; a brother Johnny Gentry (Jill) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth & Loyd Gentry. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
