Mary Borders

Mary Lewis Johnson Borders 89 of Glasgow, died Sunday July 30, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Borders was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Henry and Leona Matthews Johnson. Her husband was the late Glen Borders. She retired after 48 years at the Kentucky Pants Company as a supervisor. She is survived by one brother Leonard Johnson and wife Bernadene of Glasgow; one sister Ruth Johnson of Glasgow; 5 nieces and 6 nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters Beatrice Johnson, Margie Johnson and Jewell Williamson and 2 brothers Elmer and T. F. Johnson. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday August 2, 2006 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to your favorite organization.
