Mary Earlene Botts Turner

Mary Earlene Botts Turner, 93, of Glasgow, passed away, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at The Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. She was born on July 26, 1931, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Earl Botts and the late Annie Mae Botts. She was happily married for 65 years to the recently deceased Harold Clay Turner. Earlene was a hard-working lady, and always had a positive outlook on life.

She leaves behind to honor her memory nephews, Jerry Botts (Debbie), Botts Walker (Gaye), Richard Botts (Linda), Gary Botts (Janice), Phillip Botts (Cindy), and Steve Botts (Nancy); nieces, Joyce Nunnally (Marney), Sherrlyn Duvall (Butch), Betty Sue Ferrell (Jimmy), Carolyn Strader (Woody), Beverly Botts, and Judy Butler (Donnie); and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five siblings, Merlene Walker (Johnie), John Botts (Margaret), Roger Botts (Edna Ruth/ Roberta), Norris Botts (Opal), Lawrence Botts (Louise); two nephews, Bobby Walker (Shirley) and Carlton Botts (Anne Bruce).

The Funeral Service for Ms. Turner will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2024, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
