Mary Rogers Bradburn 82 of Glasgow died Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Born in San Mateo, CA she was the daughter of the late Dr. Carey Pegram Rogers and Mary Burdick Rogers. Her father received his medical training at John Hopkins University and moved to Jacksonville, FL where he established a hospital which has become the Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Bradburn's mother was a Registered Nurse assisting her husband. Mrs. Bradburn followed in the footsteps of her parents and became a Registered Nurse at John Hopkins and received her Bachelor of Science degree from that University. Mrs. Bradburn was married to Frank Pearce Bradburn for 54 years, Mr. Bradburn retired from a business career in 1989 and the couple moved to Naples, FL where they became active in the U. S. Coast Guard auxiliary which assists the Coast Guard in many activities other than the law enforcement. They moved to Glasgow, KY in May 2002 following there son who is a teacher at South Green Elementary School in Glasgow. In addition to her husband Frank Pearce Bradburn she is survived by 2 sons Carey Rogers Bradburn of Orlando, FL and Bruce William Bradburn of Glasgow, a sister Carey Wilder of New River, AZ and 6 grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3:00PM Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. There will no visitation. Mrs. Bradburn was cremated.
