Mary Christy

Mary A. Christy 79 of Glasgow died Sunday March 30, 2014 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Spring Hills, TN the daughter of the late Sam Clarkston and Willie Estes Clarkston. Mrs. Christy worked for many years as a waitress at the Watermill Restaurant in Cave City and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include 3 sons Tony Christy (wife Christy) of Cave City, Milton Christy (wife Peggy) of Park City and Roger Christy (wife Diane) of Bardstown; 1 daughter Sue Chapman of Hiseville; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Mable Jones of Cave City, Christine Dilley of Glasgow and Carolyn Esters of Cave City; 1 brother Marvin Clarkston (wife Ruddie) of Glasgow. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James O. Christy; 2 sisters Joyce Moulder & Opal Holley; 1 brother Levi Clarkston and a brother that was stillborn; 1 grandson Cody Christy and 1 son-in-law Paul Chapman. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday April 2, 2014 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Park City. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
