Mary Crain

Mary (Frank) Crain, 77, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Thursday, May 9th, 1940 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Robert Lincoln and Lucy (Kiper) Frank. Mary was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her three children, Jackson Crain (Connie) of Indianapolis, Donna Brooks (Lloyd) of Morgantown and Roger Crain (Tammie) of Caneyville; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers, James Frank of Caneyville, David Frank of Morgantown, Herman Frank, Thomas Frank and Jimmy Frank all of Caneyville and Donnie Joe Frank of Mineral Wells, TX and five sisters, Aline Garner of Morgantown, Jerline Lacefield, Marjorie Payton and Linda Crain all of Caneyville and Brenda Beasley of Morgantown. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Clifford Crain; two granddaughters, Sami Jo Brooks and Abby Brooks; one grandson, Tyler Brooks; three sisters, Catherine Torrence, Virginia Judd and Jean Woolen and two brothers, Elmer Frank and Jerry B. Frank. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 11th at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Stanley Elmore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Frank Embry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 5:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
