Mary Elmore

Mary Shaw Elmore 96 of Glasgow died Monday, March 3, 2014 at the NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Born in Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Leita Branham Shaw. Mrs. Elmore was retired from Mallory Capacitor Co. and was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son Rodger Elmore of Glasgow; 2 daughters Willie Elmore McGinley and Judy Elmore both of Athens, GA; a step-daughter Margaret Branstetter of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Chip McGinley of Athens, GA, Wes Elmore and Katie Minton both of Glasgow; step-grandchildren Wanda Wiley of Bowling Green and Terry Branstetter of Summersville, SC and her great-grandchildren Linkin Minton, Landon Minton, Layke Elmore all of Glasgow and Mara McGinley of Athens, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Elmore and a daughter Wini Elmore King. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, March 7th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Thursday.
