Mary Emberton

Mary Lou Emberton 64 of Glasgow, died Saturday March 25, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Rex Combs and Laverne Greer Combs of Glasgow who survives. Mrs. Emberton was a homemaker and was a member of the Dover Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Paul Emberton and a brother Tommy Combs. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son Doug Emberton and wife Tracey of Glasgow; 2 daughters Pam Wood and husband Billy of Tompkinsville and Marla Doty and husband Jerome of Glasgow; a sister Linda Stewart and husband Roy of Glasgow; 7 brothers Donald Combs and wife Priscilla of Mississippi, Mike Combs and wife Debra of Glasgow, Bobby Combs and wife Sherry of Park City, Johnny Combs and wife Sue of Glasgow, Gary Combs and wife Marie of Texas, Jimmy Combs and wife Diane of Tompkinsville and George Combs and wife Mildred of Florida; 5 grandchildren Tyler and Phillip Doty, Dylan Wood and Shea and Josh Emberton; Mother in law Nina Emberton of Glasgow and 2 sisters in law Linda (Donald) Elkin of Bowling Green and Robin Combs of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday March 27, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
