Mary Firkins

Mary Alice Firkins 80 of Glasgow, died Saturday at T. J. Samson Hospital. Born in Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Laura Johnson Pedigo and wife of the late Luther W. Firkins. She had owned and operated an antique shop and was a member of the First General Baptist Church. She is survied by 2 sons, Donnie (Sandy) Firkins of Bowling Green and Tommy (Donita) Firkins of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Keri Adwell, Kristin Buckler, Michael Goodman, Jared and Jazmin Kowalski and 2 great grandchildren Chancellor and Jade Elizabeth Adwell. Five sisters preceded her in death, Gertie Sandidge, Beula Bishop, Velma Baumgardner, Eula Davis and Myrtle Bunch. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1pm Monday.
