Mary Flowers

Mary Ellen Jones Flowers, 67 of Glasgow, died Thursday March 22, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late Hade Jones and Mary Ethel Shaw Jones. For many years, she worked as a self-employed housekeeper, then later she was a cook and server at Betty & Mildred Southern Grocery & Deli. Survivors include a daughter Renee Flowers of Springfield, TN; son Eric Flowers (River) of Bowling Green; 4 grandchildren Catalina Baker, Tifany Flowers, Sydney Dewart and Zackery Flowers; 5 sisters Betty Harlow, Barbara Brown, Mildred Shaw and Judy Fields all of Glasgow, Sheila Shaw of Gordonville, TN; Several nieces, nephews and her friend Charles Shaw also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Hubert David Flowers, Sr.; a son Hubert David Flowers, Jr.; a sister Sharon Davis and 3 brothers Jerry, John Wayne and David Michael Jones. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
