Mary Francis Pierce

Mary Francis Wilson Pierce 90 of Glasgow died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Fredericktown, KY she was the daughter of the late Joseph Silas & Mary Rose Yates Wilson and wife of the late Odon Pierce. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Powell, a daughter Sara Lee Powell, a son Bertrand Lee Powell, a brother Joseph Wilson and a sister Emma Rogers. Mrs. Pierce attended the St. Helens Catholic Church. Survivors include 3 daughters Emily Logsdon & husband J. B. of Glasgow, Lisa Strode & husband Eric of Center, KY and Judy Thompson & husband Wayne of Little Barren, KY; 2 step daughters Doris Walden of Louisville and Kay Bailey of Big Meadow, KY; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, September 15, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon, KY at 2:30 Monday. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
