Mary Greer

Mary Fern Greer 80 of Glasgow died Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Skyline Madison Campus Hospice in Madison, TN. Born in Manito, IL she is the daughter of the late Jonathan Virgil Seely and Golda Thomas Seely Hayward and wife of the late Marvin Wilson Greer. Mrs. Greer was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter Gail Greer Iliffe (Dave) of Glasgow; a step-son Richard Lee (Sandy) of Iowa; 2 granddaughters Stephanie Rigsby of Fairfield, CA and Megan Rigsby of Glasgow; 6 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren; 2 sisters Goldie Brush of Galesburg, IL and Shirley Berfield of Pekin, IL. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a daughter Donna Faye Lee, a step-daughter Ruth Bunting, her step-father Jewell Hayward and 5 brothers Charles, Loren, Harold, Robert and Virgil Seely. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Bethel United Methodist Church at 4564 Burkesville Rd. Glasgow, KY 42141 or to the Skyline Madison Campus Hospice at 500 Hospital Dr. Madison, TN 37115.
