Mary Hack

Mary A. Hack, 83, of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY. She was born on September 23, 1928 in Butler County, the daughter of Aaron and Pearl Dockery. She was a homemaker and a member of New Assembly Church in Hartford. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Everett Ray Hack, her 3 daughters Linda Bailey (Terry) of IN, Barbara Smith of Caneyville, and Jane Gullett of TN, her 6 grandchildren including Anthony Sauter of Owensboro and 5 great-grandchildren and one sister Laura Lindsey of Caneyville. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, two children Velma Jean and an infant son, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Leland Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cy Hughes Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
