Mary Hill

Mary Elizabeth Hill, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Thurman and Mary Cantlon O'Brien. She was retired from Brescia University where she worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean. Mary was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Hill. She is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Michele) Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio and Brien Hill of Florence, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Christy (Jonathan) Hiltz from Cincinnati, Ohio, Adam Hill from Santa Monica, California, and Valerie Hill from Miami, Florida; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.
