Mary F. Hagan 'Granny' Hodges 92 of Glasgow passed away peacefully at her home in Glasgow, Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 10:14 P.M. Born November 22, 1920 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Rosco and Della Strode, also of Monroe County and the widow of the late Ralph Hodge of Glasgow, KY. She was of the Church of Christ faith and a former employee of Mallory's for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and a lover of animals, especially her pet, Tager. In all of her travels to New York City, Atlantic City, Miami, FL, Indiana and Philadelphia, Glasgow was her favorite place to live and where she called home for over 50 years. Survivors include her husband Robert L. Hagan, 2 sons Ray W. Hodge of Glasgow and Wayne Hodge of Glasgow; 3 daughters Sharon Carole, Joanne Bybee, and Barbara Burris (James) all of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Ralph Hodge, 1 son Kermit Hodge, 2 sons-in-law John Lapchak and Keith Bybee, 1 great-great-grandson Rylan Hodge and a grandson-in-law Kip Depp. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Hosparus and a wonderful caregiver A.J. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, August 17th, at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Friday.
