She was born in West Louisville on May 31, 1936 to the late Jay Trogden and Mary Helen Fenwick Trogden. She was retired from KenTron Manufacturing after 35 years. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and camping. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny and Paul Ray Trogden; sister, Martha Cook; grandson, Joey Jackson. Surviving is her husband, Ed Jackson of 58 years of marriage. Children, Kenny Jackson and wife Tina of St. Joseph, Ky. Tony Jackson and wife Anita of Owensboro, Ky. John Jackson and wife Donna of Clearwater, Florida Brenda Hunt of Owensboro, Ky. Helen Reed and husband Danny of Utica, Ky. Donna Hicks and husband Frank of Owensboro, Ky. Sarah Bell and husband Eddie of Owensboro, Ky. Seventeen grandchildren Fifteen Great-Grandchildren Brothers, James E. Trogden and wife Sarah of Yelvington, Ky. Donnie Trogden and wife Cathy of Michigan Sisters, Linda Crafton and husband Leon of Keego Harbor, Michigan, Carolyn Wilkins and husband Billy of Owensboro, Ky. Numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:00am. Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 12:00 to 7:00pm. Sunday and from 8:00 to 10:30am.
