Mary Jewell

Mary Katherine Jewell 84 of Glasgow, died Sunday August 21st at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Hart County the daughter of the late W.V. and Ida Lee James Karnes. She is survived by her husband J. L. 'Rink' Jewell; 2 sons John Jewell Jr. of Edmonton and Dennis Jewell of Hiseville; 2 daughters Carolyn Matthews and husband Billy of Glasgow and Elaine Harbison and husband Stanley of Randolph; 1 brother Jimmy Karnes of Three Springs; 7 grandchildren Melissa Russell of White House, TN, Mark Matthews of Glasgow, Melanie Patterson of Murfreesboro, TN, Cynthia Shive of Edmonton, Clint Harbison of Glasgow, Terry Jewell and Travis Jewell of Hiseville. Seven great grandchidren also survive. Two brothers Leo and Lewis Karnes and a half sister Frances Gleason preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday from 8:00am until time for services at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
