Mary Lou Wisdom

Mary Lou Spencer Wisdom, 87, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at her residence. She was born November 5, 1934, to the late Roy Spencer and Lou Payne Spencer. She was raised in the Randolph Community of Metcalfe County. After raising her family, she worked & retired from Edmonton Manufactory Clothing Company in 2004. She relocated from her Edmonton farm to Glasgow in 2004 after retirement, to be near her sons. In retirement she enjoyed her home, her beautiful flowers she had grown, and her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in 1952. Jack Wisdom; one daughter, Jackie Wisdom; her half brothers and sisters, Dale, Robert, Edwin, Glen, and Neil Witty, and Evelyn and Jenise Spencer. Survivors include two sons, Barry Wisdom (Charlene) and Henry David Wisdom (Margaret) both of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Cara Wisdom Carter (Wes) of Alvaton, and Jack David Wisdom of Glasgow ; two great grandchildren, Monte Ayers Carter, and Marlee Lucille Carter both of Alvaton; and her companion dog, Taco. The family of Mary Wisdom honored her wishes to be cremated. There will be a private service held at the Wisdom Family Cemetery at a later date. A.F.
