Mary Martin

Mary Lee Gillock Martin 92 of Glasgow died Thursday, July 31, 2009 at her residence. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Clem Lee and Mary Ellen Kinslow Gillock and the wife of the late Charles W. Martin. Mrs. Martin was a retired cook for Gracewood State School and Hospital in Augusta, GA and member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 son William C. Buddy' Gillock (Shelby Jean) of Glasgow; 1 daughter Edna Monroe (Jimmy) of Louisville; 4 grandchildren Michael Gillock (Marsha) of Cookville, TN, Glen Gillock (Sherry) Glasgow, Pam Weddington of Louisville, Regina Williams (David) of Fountain Run; 1 brother Clifton Gillock (Izola) of Louisville; 4 great grandchildren Hannah Gillock, Tyler Gillock, Conner Gillock and Bailey Weddington. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 1 son Charles Lee Gillock and 1 great-grandchild Elizabeth Gillock. Funeral services for Mrs. Martin will be held 11AM Monday, August 3, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6PM Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the funeral home.
