Mary Meek

Mary Elizabeth Meek 92 of Glasgow, KY died Sunday April 25, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late David Crockett Meek and Sara Dee Glass Meek. Miss Meek was a member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow. She is survived by 3 nephews, Mark Steven Gass, David Richard Gass and Seth Thomas Post all of Glasgow; 9 nieces Sammie Sue Gass Turner of Glasgow, Rebecca Gass Rafferty of Jeffersonville, IN, Jo Doris Gass Harrison of Glasgow, Evelyn Post Moloko of Glasgow, Mary Anna Post Quick of Smyrna, TN, Betty Lou Post Austin of Aurora, CO, Vashti Hale Massey of Tramell, KY, Vivian Hale Hand of Bowling Green and Margaret Meek Botts of Glasgow. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Willie Hershel 'Buck' Meek, 3 sisters Jannie Pearl Meek Hale, Nannie Clara Ellen Meek Post and Hallie Mae Meek Gass, a niece Juanita Gass Humphrey and 3 nephews Billy Gene Post, Frankie C. Hale and Stanley 'Bosco' Post. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday April 27, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1pm Monday at the funeral home.
