Mary Bell Parrish, 91, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Barren County Nursing and Rehab Facility. She was born February 3, 1931, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Jimmy Carver and Nola Nabors Carver. Mary was a homemaker and assisted others with babysitting. She was a longtime member of Beckton Church of Christ. Survivors include five grandchildren, Jennifer Morrison (Billy) of Smiths Grove, Tina Shubert (Greg) of Scottsville, Billy Cary of Murfreesboro, TN, Alecia Hudson (Marcus) of Glasgow, Brittany Cogar (Elijah) of Glasgow; twelve great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Billy, Donald, and Beatty Carver; and best friend, Hazel Duvall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Malcolm "Bill" Parrish; two children, Larry Parrish, and Charlene Cary; and eight siblings, Wilton, Alfred, and Earl Carver, Joanetta Kingrey, Beatrice Chambers, Alice Gilpin, Mildred Carver, and Elva Rutherford. The funeral service for Mrs. Parrish will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 12th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mrs. Parrish and her family.
