Mary Riherd

Mary Sale "Bucket" Riherd 85 of Glasgow died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home. She was born at Sturgis, KY the daughter of the late Carl and Willie Logan Sale. Her husband was the late Samuel Joseph "Joe" Riherd who died May 24, 2014. Mrs. Riherd was a bookkeeper, formerly employed by Vance Lawn and Garden and Wallace Motors. She attended Coral Hill Baptist Church. "Bucket" loved and enjoyed her family and was a caring grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Shelton (Glenn) and Donna Bowles (John) both of Glasgow and Mary Dee Birge (Daryl) of Scottsville; sons T. Riherd (Patty) of Columbus, IN, Danny Riherd (Melissa) of Glasgow, Jasen Riherd (Katie) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Pat Riherd of Vero Beach, FL; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Frank Riherd and wife Ora and her sister-in-law Ayleen Sale and her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 5 brothers. Mrs. Riherd chose cremation and a Celebration of Life Service at her graveside at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery 2:00 PM Sunday, November 27th. Friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to your favorite charity. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
