Mary Ruthine Nunn

Mary Ruthine Nunn 88 of Glasgow went to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Huey Peterson Pedigo and Ruby Dove Payne Pedigo. She was the beloved wife for 49 years of Lawrence E. Nunn, Sr. who predeceased her. She was a meticulous homemaker and nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Nunn was a longtime member of Glasgow Baptist Church but more recently had attended Bethel Independent Baptist Church. The loving mother of 5 surviving children, Mary Beth Nunn of Louisville, Martha Jane Nunn of Hendersonville, TN, Larry Nunn (Leta) of Bowling Green, Mike Nunn and Beverly Williams-Bradley (William) of Glasgow; devoted grandmother of 8, Tim (Cindy) Cross, Shelly (Chris) Jones, Tina Craig Sinclair, Jeff (Sandra) Nunn, Will (Misty) Nunn, Bailey Nunn, Amanda Garrett and Ashley Nuckols; 14 great-grandchildren Kristina and Jake Cross, Bryant Williams, Chrystn and Megan Jones, Brock, Brooke, Parker and Levi Nunn, Payden and Addison Houchens, Sam Key, Heather Strefling and Jake Sinclair. She was also the dear sister of Betty Jane Minix of Scottsville and caring aunt of several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sons Bailey Bockman Nunn and Johnny Ray Nunn; 2 grandchildren Teena Sue Cross and Andrew "Andy" Eason Williams; 5 brothers Lester, Buster, Henry, Billy and Eugene Pedigo and 5 sisters Lucille Cox, Nettie Mariz, Lillian Berryman, Dorothy Coulter, and Margaret Bunch. Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Sunday, September 11th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Saturday and continue Sunday morning until services.
